Hey Excelers,
I have successfully use Shared workbooks over the past 8 months with few issues but in the last month I have users and myself run into the following error.
"Excel was unable to save the workbook because there was a problem readin or applying part of the revision history. You can unshare the workbook or save to a non shared workbook format to fix the problem."
This is wrecking the smooth process that I had.
A couple of questions.
1. What are the users / myself / our network doing that is causing the error?
2.Will setting auto-save at least minimize the damage but making sure that syncing of the changes happens more often.
3. Other than suggesting we need a "true" system or and Access db what are others doing to pull together information into one spreadsheet worked on by multiple people?
Thank you in advance for your comments and help,
Mark
