SENDING AUTOMATIC EMAIL WITHOUT USING MICROSOFT OUTLOOK

Hi

I am using lotus notes email solution in the office. I want to send automatic email to email IDs mentioned in the excel column based on the criteria i.e. after due date.

Please help me with the code for a scenario where outlook is not configured

Thanks Alan for your response. I had gone through the site but the VBA code solution seems to be very complicated. I am not very expert in VBA. Is there any simpler solution . I simply want to send mail on email IDs mentioned in excel column.

Reena,
Ron is the Guru when it comes to emailing from Excel. His codes are flawless. You will need to find his example that meets your email and then use his code. Without testing it yourself, you will not get anywhere. From a forum perspective, there is no generic code. It is specific to the email program you are running. Have you talked to your IT support team. They may have something set up for Lotus Notes.

Thanks Alan for your response. I have no doubt about the code on the site. But I am new to VBA . So I wanted some simple solution. Anyway I will learn & try to use the code to solve the problem. Thanx again for your guidance.

Reena, you are welcome. Post back with any issues you may encounter. I myself no longer use or have access to Lotus Notes but someone here should be able to assist if you run into issues.
