Selecting a data from a date as source and use the same for countifs for further calculation, Which formula is best
 
With that somewhat vague question, my response will be to guess either VLOOKUP, LOOKUP, or INDEX/MATCH?

Do you work for the secret service of the undercover police squad.....because you dont like giving any information..you will get a better respons to your post if you give more detail as to your problem and the desired result...I know every body is concerned abour wasting energy...but a few more key storkes on the key board will not cause climate melt down.
 
As bobhc said, more info is better. Until you can explain the problem more, perhaps some reading of the XL help file would assist you? Or, Chandoo has a nice breakdown of some of the more useful lookup/reference functions here:
