Select cell and change color in graph data point

Hi everyone I'm new and happy to be here.

I trying to achieve something that is driving me mad for a while
When I select the cell. e.g. March I want the datapoint in the graph change the transparency to 0%.
What is the best way to achieve this, I need some guidlines...
