Security Warning: File with VBA code opened in another PC

Hello There,

I have a excel file with extension.xlsm. This has a normal userform which hides and unhides columns and a combobox to navigate to different worksheets.

When this file is opened it gives a security warning message for macro. The user then has to press the option button and choose enable content.

Attached is the sample workbook for your reference

Could you please advise, how this can be overwritten so the user uses the file in the same way as I can use it on my computer without any warnings?

Thanks & regards
Don

Exactly the same way you have to apply the setting.. that you have decided not to come again the same warning message.

  1. Click the File tab. The Microsoft Office Backstage view appears.
  2. In the Backstage view, under Help, click Options. The Options dialog appears.
  3. Click Trust Center, then Trust Center Settings.
  4. Click Protected View.
  5. Make selections that you want.
or you can BUY a digital certificate and make it approved by Microsoft, so that, they can set "your provided codes are not-harmful" for other systems. :)

Hello Debraj,

Thank you for your reply and advise.

Could you please let me know where can you Buy this certificate from Microsoft? When you buy it, will it work on any computer without any warnings?

Regards
Don
