Search with OFFSET INDIRECT SUBSTITUTE functions

Is there are a way to combine the following calculation so it is searchable? By that I mean the cell that uses this validation to narrow down when to start to type?

=OFFSET(INDIRECT(SUBSTITUTE($F16," ","")),0,0,COUNTA(INDIRECT(SUBSTITUTE($F16," ","")&"Col")),1)

It is yeah, but using the data and validation I already have as opposed to using a combo box. Any ideas on if this is possible? I can share my file if its easier?

Attached file - This is a customer spec tool for refrigeration systems. You will see the functionality here which starts at F16. Based on F16 F17, 19, 20, 21 and 25 through 32 provide the respective information. What I would like to try and do due to the long lists is make F17, 19, 20, 21 & 25 narrow down as you type text.
