search syntax

hi all


when I run my code I get

Run-time error 1004

Method 'Range ' of object '_Global' failed.

range("Mover").seek

I assume it is to do with the syntax of the search facility

Hi Jones ,


The Range object does not have a seek method ; this is an error in itself , apart from the error message which you have posted.


The first thing to do is read the Excel Help on the Find method , which is the one to be used to search.
