Sales Coverage Model

Dear All,

I'm trying to build a sales coverage model. There are some tools been used like GIS and the Gravity Model. I was looking for Excel examples but the only thing I can find is Finance models. Does anyone came across this type of modelling ?

I studied Gravity Models for decision of location of manufacturing plant while i was studying Operation management. Is it the same Gravity Model?? Can you give some more details of your desired model?
