I have built a Pro Forma Model that reflects the full amount of an Annual SW license in the month it is BOOKED. I am looking for suggestions or examples of how to have a second tab that is based on the bookings and spreads the booking out over 12 months when REVENUE can be recognized. I have found no examples of this. Any one familiar with ACS 606, Is there a different way to approach and model this? Attached is a simplified example of what I am trying to model.
