Resolution Timetable: looking for a new look

Hello all,
I am trying to find a new visually appealing way to report on following data showing how long it took for a ticket to be approved after it was submitted by an agent.

Code:
              Jan-13 Feb-13 Mar-13 Apr-13 May-13 Jun-13 Jul-13

Day 0 63% 70% 77% 62% 57% 64% 58%

Day 1 18% 18% 14% 25% 22% 23% 23%

Day 2 6% 3% 3% 3% 7% 5% 7%

Day 3 5% 4% 3% 4% 5% 4% 6%

Day 4+ 8% 6% 2% 6% 8% 4% 5%

The percentage can be easily replaced with actual counts.

My boss is stuck on the following chart, which I personally don't like as it is not doing anything for me visually

I suggested following, which my boss does not like, but I think it shows right away that majority of tickets are approved on the first day

Was wondering if anyone has any other thoughts or ideas I can try to implement here?

Hi Evreeva ,

Surely the straightforward choice for this would be a stacked column chart , either a normal stacked chart or a 100% stacked chart.

When the series are spread out , the chart looks a bit cluttered.

If you add a drop-down for selecting the months / days , and radio buttons to select whether the X-axis should be the days or the months , you can give the chart some interactivity.

Thank you for the reply Naryan. Unfrotunately, the chart cannot be interreactive as it is usually being copy-paste into a power point, which is later being converted to pdf file.
However, if this was not suppose to be a static report, I would have definitelt went for drop down/raido buttons look.
