Replace conditional if with Index match

Hi,

Is there a way I could replace conditional if with any other function in excel. Below is an example.

Current Scenario:
A 10
B 20
C 15
D 30
E 35

Output I am looking for is,

A
A
A
A
A
A
A
A
A
A
B - 20times
C - 15 times
......So on.

I could do a cum on the numbers and do a conditional if..but ai have more than 100 variables.

Any help is appreciated.
