Rename multiple pdf files

Hi Dear
I am new to the forum, I need help, I have one folder on my desktop "New Folder"
It has multiple pdf files named "abc (1).pdf" to "abc (100).pdf"
I wanted excel to rename all those files with the range in exceel sheet A1:A100
That means file "abc (1).pdf" will be rename to cell value of A1
similarly "abc (100).pdf" will be rename to cell value to A100

Need immediate answer please, need a macro code, thanks a lot in advance

Read rule #5 of Don't section.

How is the code supposed to know that it is renaming the right file?
Will the numbers written for files always be with bracket convention (1) to (100)?
What happens if the files are more than list in Excel or the other way round?
