Removing Special Characters like /, , or

I have long list of joint names which is seperated by a special character. Like


John/Alia

John & Alia

John& Alia

I want the list in two seperate columns

John alia

John alia

John Alia
 
Select your data. Then under Data - Text to Columns. Select delimited, and input the character. XL will split all the data at that character. I'd suggest repeating for each special character that you have.
