Remote Desktop File (RDP)

I want to copy a file from a remote desktop (RDP). I am able to open the RDB via vba, but unable to access the files on remote desktop.

There is a table linked to sql query on RDP and the table needs to be refreshed only on RDP. I need to copy the table from that file to file on my local desktop and perform the task. Please help.

As here we are on the Excel formulas forum,
try using VLOOKUP formula …

See with the IT / network admin your grant access to the RD.
As you can also copy - just try ! - the file to the local hard disk …

Hi Marc L, I have to use VBA to get to the remote desktop and copy the table from a file on the Remote Desktop to a file on my local desktop. Apologies for not being clear in my question earlier.

Search on web for some VBA samples but you may save time
by first asking to your IT as we can't guess how is your network …

Yep. First ask your IT that you have appropriate permission level and that folder that contains the file is accessible remotely.

There's not much we can help you there, as network administration is specific to each admin/company's policy.
