Relationships

Hi, so im really struggling with relationships. I have one set of data that goes from January to May then another from June ongoing. How do i connect the relationships and then display in a visual, in laymans terms?
I have used power BI for years but this has always been my stumbling block. Thank you

It depends on your data layout. I suspect you actually want to append one data set to the other, not link them.

To connect these datasets, try using the “Append Queries” function in Power BI. This will allow you to combine both datasets into one continuous set. Then you can create a visual, like a line chart, to see the whole picture.
If you run into issues, make sure the columns in both datasets match.

Greetings, Beatrice
