I have recently being using the PowerPivot Add-on to excel in order to pull in more data and more effeciently analyze a large amount of data without bogging down my computer.
My question is, I noramlly create excel files for other users, and normally I would write a macro that when "ran" , would update the data table, and update the queries so that it is very user friendly. Well now that my data resides in Powerpivot, it doesnt seem I am able to do this. IS there a simple way, that when in the excel window(not powerpivot), for me to either write a macro or have a button the user can click to update the powerpivot data as well as all data in the excel file.
Let me know when you have a chance.
Thanks!
