Hi everyone.

I need some direction please. I have asked this elsewhere but not getting any true responses.

I got tons of free learning material on the internet but wasnt sure which to select.

I was registered on a Udemy Course but it was kind of quite complex after 10 lessons when things like objects etc came in and the exercises seemed quite difficult to me. This has kind of demotivated me.

I was wondering if someone could kindly shed some advice of a website they used which was simple.

Hi !

Objects are the VBA basics :
Excel as an application in an (OS) object;
a workbook is an object from Excel;
a worksheet is an object from a workbook;
a cell is an object from a worksheet …

A must read : Excel inner help, almost all is inthere !

Many thanks for your reply. Do you recommend an extremly simple free source for learning macros?

Thanks for your reply. I am quite a novice in this area of Excel and the past 2 experiences of progressing through tutorials and then getting stuck in the middle has kind of demotivated me.

Which is why I posted this question :D

Dear @adamuce ,

Please see you tube videos of wiseowl' s basic VBA tutorial, repeated it many times ,start from 1st.
May be if you like constant repeat reading from globaliconnect.com it will help on understand basics.

Mrexcel.com, chandoo.org, search & choose as per your mind seek about, repeat read that thread , definatly
You achieve something though little, but this many littles establish understanding in your mind about VBA.

Sometime our mind cheat us between learning about concepts & things, that "oh I understand it"..but
Without practically , repeatadly, use it , we never understood that concept as in fullly recognistios that what is that matter, thing, concept want to say & how to set, understand it.

There are many source for & to understand VBA in recent time on this glob.

Hope my this little hint will help you, god bless you.

Regards,

Chirag Raval
