Rearranging Selected data from a data set

Hi Chandoo,

I have been trying to re- arrange my data set based on a particular on particular criteria. Please find attached a work book sample. I would like to to have data sorted/ re arranged only for Veg items as in the table on Sheet 2 of the excel sheet. Kindly let me know how I could do this!

Hi Deepthi, and welcome to the forum! :awesome:

I'd suggest using a PivotTable, and having heads in rows. If you try to do by column sin your example, you'll end up with blank cells all over the place.

With this, you can easily filter by year/month, and see what you have in each group.
