Hi there!
I am posting a question to the Awesome Chandoo site and forum, hoping an Excel wizard will come to my aid.
You may recall the visualization contest using budget vs actual values posted
in 2009. I'm interested in understanding exactly how contestants #'s 1, 8 got their surplus or shortfall bars to show up at the top end of the bar instead of at the base of the axis (is this overlapped or stacked somehow or is it an overlapped waterfall chart?) and also what was done to make the bars change colour to indicate surplus or shortfall? I hope this makes sense. I've tried to find samples and I can see contestant 8 (cuboo) may have used something called graphomate but I can't use this application.
