Query on any software that reads text from an image.

I work in a finance company. Every 2W loan physical file has got a tagging with engine and chassis no. Please find attached the image file.

Is there any software that reads/ scans text in the tagging area and highlights the particular loan Account no or reads the particular Loan A/c no as checked.

Right now our team is physically checking the Loan files with the excel data and entering the receipt details.

If there is really a software that servers the above purpose, this would reduce manpower and time.

Thanks for replying the same on priority. but I would be having physical file not scanned documents where I need to have an hardware that will scan and inputs the same in excel file.
