Hi,
Can any body explain the PPMT formula, given the example as =PPmt (10%,3,12,-10000) in chandoo.org

Here 10% is interest
3 ? Should we have to consider 3 as 3 months Please explain
12 = Months,
100000= Principal

If you select the PPMT formula from the ribbon, a Function Arguments window will open with the required parts of the formula listed, if you click in one of the smaller input windows you will be told what each part of the formula is and what is required. This works for any and all formulas.
