hi all,
Im looking at ways of taking test written into PowerPoint slides into a field in excel. normal copy paste i guess would surfice however i would have to do this for 150+ ppts and thats not counting the actual test fields i would like to import.
I know its generally excel to ppt and not the other way round but this would save so much time and energy..
the ppts are fixed template reports.
can anyone help?????

Hi, sib!

Welcome to Chandoo forums!

About your question I'm afraid that you'll be more lucky at a Powerpoint forum like Chandoo for Excel... if such a thing exists, which I doubt.
Four years ago I had to develop a project that created .pp* files from text entered in a VBA form interface.

I can't post the actual file since it deals with copyrighted content. The attached file is a slightly cropped PP file with macros that won't work if you don't have the proper copyrighted files in the selected subfolders. I just upload it as a guide of exposing some of the PPT objects and how to use them.

Hope you can achieve your goal.

Regards!

PS: File in .rar format as .pp* are not allowed at these forums.
