Chihiro Excel Ninja Apr 26, 2017 #2 How is it brought into PowerPivot data model? Is it via get external data? Or is it from PowerQuery or some other source? Are you able to highlight the column and change Data Type to Text in Formatting ribbon tool in PowerPivot module?

Chihiro Excel Ninja Apr 28, 2017 #4 Then instead of directly importing data into PowerPivot, leverage PowerQuery to import and then load to data model. If above does not work. Upload sample csv which represent your data to get further help.
