Hi,

I have a graph which shows the metrics of each fiscal week. There are five fiscal weeks for eg: FW-1,2,3,4,5 in the graph. I want to send a pop up alert to my supervisor as soon as my metrics reach 90% in the graph but it should be always the last fiscal week( here in the eg. Fw-5). How can it be done automatically

Hi, Dalia!
Consider uploading (a) sample file(s) (including manual examples of desired output if applicable), it'd be very useful for those who read this and might be able to help you. Thank you.
Regards!

Hi,

I have attached the sample file. In this sample FW-4 shows 90%. So I want to send my supervisor that we have reached the metrics to 70% be it be FW-4 or FW-5. So as soon as the graph reach 70% a pop up alert should be sent. Is it possible? can it be done automatically

Hi.
Let's arrange it in a different way as I think this is not the one am looking for. The fiscal week is dynamic i.e. it keeps on increasing I.e. Fw- 6,7,8,9,10etc so as soon as the data in each Fw reach 90% a pop up should go. How to do that Can anybody help me on that

Hi Dalia ,

There seems to be some confusion here ; how will the data in each fiscal week reach 90 % ?

If it is through some data entry , where will this data be entered , and what are the cells which need to be checked for when the value exceeds 90 % ?

Secondly , if the data is in front of the user , what is the purpose of a pop-up ? A pop-up is needed when things are changing behind the scenes ; here , if the cell which is going to exceed 90 % is in full view of the user , then why the pop-up ? If you just wish to alert the user , even Conditional Formatting will do the job.

Hi @NARAYANK991,

the pop up alert will be for another user who will be able to view the workbook only when he opens the workbook. As he wants the information i want that he receive a pop up alert without opening the workbook.

The workbook attached above cant reach above 90% without reaching 90%.

the cells of percentage are formulated as you can see the attached workbook. And the cells where the data will be entered are B6, C6, D6, E6, F6 which are for FW-1, 2, 3, 4,5, so for FW-6, the percentage will be entered in G6. So like that it keeps on increasing for each FW

Hi Dalia ,

I am sorry but the confusion remains.

The data are being entered by one user , who as he / she enters sees that the percentage is either below 90% or above 90%.

The user closes the workbook. The second user is now supposed to get a pop-up alert if the percentage is above 90% , without having to open the workbook ; how ?

How is Excel or even Windows supposed to recognize this user and display the alert ?

Ni @NARAYANK991 ,

The excel sheet will remain open by the user when the pop up will go to the another person. The user keeps it always open. The pop up alert will be received by another person who doesn't keep it open but she will have her outlook open.
can the popup be received via outlook to another person

Hi Dalia ,

I think what we are talking about now has nothing to do with the title of this thread !

Are we even talking about the same computer ?

As far as I can see , now what we have is two users working on two different computers ; one user enters data in Excel ; when the data exceeds 90 % in a cell , the application ( Excel ) has to send a message to another computer by which a pop-up message appears on that computer , in another application ( Outlook ). Is this correct ?

Hi.
Its related to only one cell that is A1 but I want on the cells which are for a particular row but increase horizontal ly every fiscal week
