Please help with Tier-Based Billing Formula

Hello, my name is Pamela. Can someone please help me? I need a formula that calculates tier-based billing.


Cell M12 has a value of $2,359,345.89. This value equals the Assets Under Management (AUM). The tiers are listed on the left and to the left I've calculated the billing for the value of $2,359,345.89 (formula needed).


First $250,000 = 2.00% $ 5,000.00

Next $250,000 = 1.75% $ 4,375.00

Next $250,000 = 1.50% $ 3,750.00

Next $250,000 = 1.25% $ 3,125.00

Next 1 Million = 1.00% $10,000.00

Next 3 Million = 0.75% $ 2,695.09

Next 5 Million = 0.50%


The total in fees comes out to $28,945.09.

I understand the relation of (First $250,000 = 2.00% $ 5,000.00)


could u please explain the line "The tiers are listed on the left and to the left I've calculated the billing for the value of $2,359,345.89 (formula needed)" bit more clearly...I mean what for you need the formula!!
