Hello All,
I am new to pivot tables and I am struggling with how to make the pivot table work correctly. Is there a way to remove lines B4 through K4?

When I do that I lose my orders which i am wanting to see

This is what I was doing when I realized the grand total was including my orders and I dont want that. I want the grand total to be just the items that were produces and then the orders separate. Is it possible to subtract the orders from the grand total in the pivot table?

Yes but I need the orders in the pivot table like in the attached photo. I would prefer to see if the attached file can you just subtract the orders from the grand total

Your how to make the pivot table work correctly.
Pivot-tables works always correctly.
Some columns could ... hide ... to see as You would like to show.

Is there a link above to look at? So these is no way to subtract orders from grand total in a pivot table. Hiding doesnt solve the issue since it shows up in the legend

Wasn't Your issue: I need the orders in the pivot table like in the attached photo?

... and next the legend case.
If You want to see Total Orders in Pivot-table then there have to be orders to show Totals.

It's possible to solve those Orders Totals 'outside' of Pivot-table.

I never thought of separating out the orders but when I do that it causes more differences see attached sheet

There could be many features which could make it look smoother --- eg slicers or how?

Pivot tables are as those are - useful.
You should study and learn - how to use those.
