Hi I made one file which i have to give Conditional formatting in Pivot table as per priority of date ,e.g. if date is 10 days old than current date, then different BG color, if date is 10 days later, then different BG color, I tried it but I didn’t get it, could u please help me regarding the same.

Start date Priority

07/01/12 High priority

07/06/12 High priority

08/01/12 Low priority

08/10/12 Low priority

03/01/12 High priority


The above data is all in Pivot table, i have to give conditional formatting for date column as per Today's days, menace an example in above table date is suppose 03/01/2012 it's too old from current date i have to format in BG(background) color with "Red" & font color is white with BOLD, same for if date in above table is 08/01/2012 its too long from today's date, then i have to give BG(background) color with "Orange" & Bold Black font.

i tried it but if i give conditional formatting in Pivot table, by default it select all the row (even if there is not any pivot table data even that (blank) cell also formatted).

i have question, when i am using this formula in Pivot Table, it select Blank column also (i mean it capture all column). i just want select only Pivot area.
