Pivot Table-change percentage by Row label change

I am using Excel 2007 to view sales history as a percentage of sales and quantity of items sold. I can change the percentage to reflect based on column total and total.

I have the year and then customer type as a sub category of year in the Row Labels of the pivot table Field List. Is there a way to have the Pivot Table calculate the percentage when there is a change in the year heading?

I want to have the yearly history with a total of 100% as a subtotal for each change the year heading.

2011

Independents 10%

Landscapers 30%

Nurseries 30%

Wholesalers 30%

2010

Independents 8%

Landscapers 32%

Nurseries 40%

Wholesalers 20%

I can do an each year report and cut a paste or a pivot table report but I get a percentage of each type based on however many years are selected.

Thanks,

Lee

You lost me at "sales history as a percentage of sales and quantity of items sold".

Do you mean you want to

1. have the year on a click down menu? Yes. Pivot table does provide that.

2. show the years as column heading? yes. Pivot table can do that too.
