Pivot Table - Calculated Fields from other pivot results

My pivot table has results such as 'Count of ID', 'Sum of ERRORS', etc. and I want a calculated field within the table based on the two pivot fields, but = SUM(Errors)/COUNT(ID) or ='Sum of ERRORS'/'Count of ID' don't work.


I want the calculated field to remain as part of the pivot so that filtering, resorting, etc. stay in sync (so simple workarounds like formulas outside the pivot with cell references or GETPIVOTDATA don't seem to work.) Any help greatly appreciated!

Hi ,


It should work ; what happens is that when you add a Calculated Field , and give the formula , in your case :


='Sum of ERRORS'/'Count of ID'


the field is only added to the Field List.


Access the Field List , and check the checkbox next to the Calculated Field name , say Field1 , and the field will appear in your Pivot Table.
