Pie Chart

Hi,

I have a pie chart which is based on a data table in a separate worksheet. The data in the table is either positive or negative based on a formula the value isn't important. what i want the pie chart to do is if the value changes grey out the series that have not changed and only colour those areas changing.

is this possible with code pls?

Can you elaborate on what a changing data point would look like? Is there a date field? An category? XL sees everything as a single snap shot, so we'd need to define how to view something as "changing".

there are no date fields a simple table in a worksheet with 2 rows and 7 columns of data row 1= data headers row 2 = formula that pulls data from a different source and does a calculation. based on whether that calculation yields a positive or negative pie chart series do nothing if zero then the chart series related to the cell containing the zero has its colour changed.

I guess how I want to view something as changing is everytime the pie chart or the cell value changes the code is triggered to update the chart series colour.
