In the attached file, column D has only one value which is in cell D51 which has a value of 7.5 which corresponds to the 45th degree in a circle.
I used Insert > Shapes to show what I am trying to do. See the yellow circle which has a radius pointing at the 45 degrees and it displays 7.5 as a data label.
The green circle graph is my attempt at getting what I want.
1. I guess the value of 7.5 corresponds to the green area, but why is there a white line? What does that represent?
2. Below the green circle, instead of 360 categories, there are 316. This is because I am starting at 0 degrees and ending on 360 degrees. Would it be better to start with 0 and end on 359 or start with 1 and end on 360?
The challenge I'm facing is how to get a radius line to point to the 45 degree angle in this case.
After searching I just can't find anything on how to do this.
