Pictures as backgroud in Excel

Hi,

I know how to insert a picture into the spreadsheet. However, how do I make the picture as the background across columns and rows? And there is no way I can "send to back" like in PowerPoint that the picture is in the background and the number and text in the foreground.

I'm using MS Excel 2007.

In 2003, it was Format - Sheet, Background. (Alt+o, h, b)

I'm afraid I don't have 2007, but perhaps the old keyboard shortcuts will work, or someone else can translate?

If you want the picture to be printed (like a watermark), there's a different method. Again, I'm using 2003, so may be a little different. In page Setup, go to Header/Footer, Insert picture. Adjust size/position as needed.

You could try searching XL help file for "watermark" for further detail
