Personal View contained in Custom View

Hi All,

I'm just trying to understand custom views & the role that a personal view plays in Excel. I know that each user accessing my shared excel workbook across a citrix server leaves a personal view recorded in the workbook. If this aware of the share system? Should I delete these views, should I leave them alone. Should I leave well enough alone? :)

I've been sharing this workbook in one form or another for 12 years, even before Microsoft became aware that you could share a workbook across a network.

Personal View is just display settings (filter, hidden rows/columns, selections etc) and print settings. If you want to ensure that everyone has same starting point when they open the document, you can delete it. Otherwise you can leave it alone.
