Hi All,

I am New to this forum. To be more prises, am new to forums.
I'm stuck with one macro which makes me to break my head.

below is the scenario.

using VBA in Excel, I wanted to open the PDF in Adobe and again Print as "PDF Document" with Same Page settings and Fit to Screen.

This requirement might sound crazy, but it would be really helpful, if anyone of you can sort out this.

Thanks,

Deepak Dayalan

Hi !

Unclear !
Excel since 2007 version can create a pdf file format
only from an Excel worksheet …

Hi Marc,

Thanks for your reply.

yes, you are correct. Excel can create PDF.
But my requirement is to create a VBA Script that should open the External PDF and then it should recreate the PDF(Similar to Manual process like, Ctrl + P & select Printer as "ADOBE PDF" then Print). This will result From Software Generated PDF to a scanned PDF Document.

Kindly let me know, If you need some more Clarifications on the same.

Thanks
DD

Excel can't create a pdf file from an external pdf file.
It only uses data from its own worksheet and
does not use a printer as "Adobe PDF" 'cause it has its own method !

And if you already have a pdf file, where is the logic to create the same ?!
