Dear all,

I am new to excel and after reading and searching for the solution for quite a while, I am asking here for help.
It seems pasting a set of copied data (unfiltered) "tab Input" to a filtered and larger tab "Connections" is quite tricky to do in excel.

On one side, I have a set of 677 rows (unfiltered) in tab "Input" and I would like to paste it into tab "connections" respecting the filtered condition (excluding "Blank"), equivalent to 677 rows. Currently it paste including hidden rows.

Please find attached, the excel.
ps: I am using Mac MS365 excel version.

Thanks a lot for the help

Do You try to 'update' those 'Input'-sheets data to 'Connection'-sheet data?
You can paste Your 'Input' to end of 'Connection'-sheet and after that 'remove duplicates'
... but there would be still left some FirstName LastName -combinations, depends what should 'update'.
=> what columns has changed? = which columns should 'update'?

Hello vletm,
Thanks for you reply.
Not sure what you mean but yes I want to update or replace the 677 (filtered) rows in the "connection" tab with the 677 ones from the "Input" tab.

The "Input" tab is the clean data set I first extracted from the connection tab to clean it and now I want to re-import in the connection tab.

Hope it is understandable.

1) Delete those 'Connection'-sheets rows. which You want to 'update' from 'Input'-sheet.
2) Copy 'Input'-sheets rows and paste those to end of 'Connection'-sheet.
3) Sort 'Connection'-sheet as needs.
(( If You paste 'over' filtered sheet, it won't do as You would like it to do! ))
