Paste Issue

Hi,

My name is Rene Davis. I trying to paste a block of cells into another excel spreadsheet. I have 2 screens and an excel spreadsheet open on both. I've done this in the past with no problem. Now all of a sudden I'm getting a message that reads, "Microsoft Excel cannot paste the data." At one point I think I recall getting a message about the data being to big but, am not getting that message anymore. It's not a large area I'm trying to copy. If I actually click into a cell, copy the info and then paste it to the other sheet cell, it works. It just won't let me paste a group of cells. Thoughts?

Can you please check the below condition..

* Is there any Filter applied..

* Is your Ctrl Key working fine , I mean is it not pressed unfortunately non-contigious area are selected..

* Is only One sheet is selected at the left bottom.. Sheet list..

* and finally check if the source file is in XLSX format and you have selected more than 65536... cells and want to paste in XLS file where total number of cells 65536 ..


If still not resolve than we can through more IF loop.. or you may upload the culprit File.. :)
