Operator AND

Hello,

I have been struggle with this the operator AND in Excel, and I hope someone could help me please !

How should I write this operation en Excel in order that the result take in account both conditions at the same time ?


((A2 + 1.5*B2 >= 15) && (A2 + 2*B2 < 30))

How are you trying to use it?

=AND(A2+1.5*B2>15,A2+2*B2<30)

will return TRUE or FALSE

=(A2+1.5*B2>15)*(A2+2*B2<30) returns 1 or 0.

Or with bracket added.....

=((A2+1.5*B2)>=15)*((A2+2*B2)<30)

return 1 or 0
