online business simulations

Hi ,

I am new to this forum. I am interesting in finding out how we can created dashboards , business simulations in a online environment where users input all the data online and see the results online without the need to have tools like Excel etc on their local machine.

Would this require custom development and are their companies who do this kind of work ?

We are able to do this locally on our PCs using Excel based tools.

Kindly guide me on this

there is a great tool shiny package in R. You can develop script place in on server running R. And your script might include uploading data from outside users ( supposedly in right format ) . Then outside user could use this web app without ever knowing what is going on in the background
