Need Help with EXCEL Formula

Hi Genius Minds,

I need an excel Formula, where i would want to return below things:

1. A2 Cell has 01:09:09 then I need separate values in minutes and seconds as below:

B2 (in Minutes) as 69.9 minutes
C2(in Seconds) as 4149 seconds.

Pleas help!

So you need it expressed in minutes and seconds?

Your B2 value is wrong... should it not be 69.15?
=A2*24*60

In C2
=A2*24*60*60

Hi Chihiro,

01:09:09 means in minutes it will come to 60+9(69) and 9 seconds i.e. 69.9 seconds.

I can convert hours and Minuts into a whole number but how do i add 0.9 sec to make it 69.9 Minutes.

=HOUR(A2)*60+MINUTE(A2)+SECOND(A2)/10
