Need help regarding date format

Hi All,

here i have a file and i want to subtract sfrl rcv date from today. but my dates in sfrl receive date column is not formatted. Ihave used a helper column to sort out dates from text with left formula but its not working for all cells. why? after sorting dates how to format them? i have lots of dates. its tough changing one by one. any idea??

H3 (adding "0+" as per highlighted), formula copy down :

=0+LEFT(E3,8)

and format cells as per your date system
