mf1 Member Feb 18, 2016 #1 Hello, I require a formula to calculate sales with only GP$ and GP% as known inputs. Sales = ? COGS = ? GP$ = $15,644 GP% = 49.4% Your help would be appreciated. Thanks, mf1

mf1 Member Feb 18, 2016 #7 COGS (cost of goods sold) is used to calculate stockturn & sales to stock ratio. Once I have sales I can calculate COGS (Retail - COGS = GP$) or if I had COGS and GP$, I could calculate sales. So your answer was perfect, as I had a tight deadline and was thinking why didn't I try that! If ever you are in Melbourne, message me Thanks again Eloise.
