Multiple Dynamic Lists

I’m trying to set up a table where you can have multiple dynamic lists. For example, column 1 has a drop-down list containing the asset group, column 2 would then have a sub-category if there is one otherwise it would remain blank and column 3 would then show the correct assets attributable to each asset group or sub-category. Is this possible? I’ve tried the INDIRECT function mixed with a VLOOKUP but haven’t managed to do it correctly. Excel sheet attached.

What you are referring to are called cascading combo boxes or dependent combo boxes. Here is a link to Smallman's web site where he provides a tutorial on how to set this up.

I've had a look at the link you sent but couldn't get it to work - I'm o.k. on Excel but I'm afraid it went over my head. Thanks again though.
