more powerful spreadsheet

Hi, I'm looking for a more powerful shreadsheet than Excel 2010. I think the maximum number of rows in Excel 2010 is 33,000. I would need to work with 50 million rows within the same spreadsheet.

Thank you

Hi Cold,

In excel 2010, you have upto 1048576 rows, but again having data for 50 million should ideal be using some RDBMS like SQL or Oracle. spreadsheets may be risky affair.

And use excel as interface to view required info.

The default number of rows is 65536 when working in compatibility mode. In 2007 and 2010, if you save the file as .xlsx you can have 1,048,576 rows.

If you "truly" need more rows that that, I would recommend switching to a database program, like Access.
