MisMatch Formula having #N/A Error

=IF(Database!B2="", "", IF(Database!B2=INDEX(INVENTORY!B:B, MATCH(B2,INVENTORY!B:B, 0)), "", "mismatch"))


this formula is showing subjected Error...rather then showing Mismatch is the cell value is not found...

kind improve the formula for me id be really glad....

try to use IFERROR infront of Match and give it your desired condition if it is #n/a.

Is Database!B2 the same cell as the referenced B2?


If so:

=IF(OR(B2="",COUNTIF(INVENTORY!B:B,B2)>0),"","mismatch")

yes i the referenced is also b2 its an option if my boss tell me to add ref as anOther cell option so i can do that...
