Milestone Timeline Not Displaying Proper Dates

Hi,

First time here so please bear with me.

In the file attached I have a timeline pulling data from a filtered table. When no filter is in use, all correct milestone information displays in the chart but the dates are heavily skewed due to the vast amount of table values with errors. Once errors (displaying as "No Data") are filtered out I get a visually appealing timeline but inaccurate dates.

Changing the horizontal x axis to text or date does not resolve this, nor does hiding blank/error cells. Any recommendations?

Not sure if I understood your requirement... but see attached.

Select Data Label, and go to options. Then Select Range 'Master Timeline'!$B$20:$B$300

Chihiro, thank you! Changing the data label range would have been the perfect solution but I failed to mention that I was now working in Excel 2010 and don't have that option. Of course, please correct me if I am wrong about that.

Ah I see. In that case NARAYANK991's method is what you want to go with.

Alternately if the list isn't large one, you can do formula method. But that requires you to edit one label at a time. See link below, it also has link to Excel Add-in for chart labelling.
