Merge excel files in different folders which have the same name

Hi

I would like to merge excel files in different folders which have the same file name.

For example there are three folders and each have s1.xls file only one sheet in each file.

I want to copy all the data(three s1.xls files) into one main sheet ,appended in column

Need help

I think you're going to want to at least have shortcuts to all of your files in the same folder. Having to programmatically specify lots of different folders will be a pain. Anyway, take a look at some of the add-ins/examples here:

The files are in different folders and I need to retrieve the excel files with same name and paste all of them into one excel sheet for further analysis
