Matching characters to the right/left

=INDEX('New Sites Codes'!$A$2:$B$8,MATCH(RIGHT('Accounts & Sites'!A2,3),RIGHT('New Sites Codes'!A2,3),0),2)

Hi Guys

I am trying to match the last 3 digits in a cell with the last 3 digits in the indexed column using the above formula but its giving me errors. See attached file.

Can someone help me out.

D2, copy down :

=INDEX('New Sites Codes'!$B$2:$B$8,MATCH("*"&RIGHT(A2,4),'New Sites Codes'!$A$2:$A$8,0))

However, your formula if i try to double click to check the cells in your formula it produces errors and the putting the same formula as yours does not work anymore.
