Please tell me that what does this mean

what is the use of it upon pressing this button we have a dialog box for ... Are you sure ????

when you view out forum.. some of the post showing as bold, and some are in normal font..

Whenever you view/read any post.. it automatically turns to normal font..

It helps you to recognize, which post you have already visited or new for you..

If you click on "Mark forum read".. forum software will assume that all the thread you have read..
 
Additionally, depending on if you are at main screen or an individual forum, you have the option to mark all threads within a specific forum as read, or all threads in all forums.

Personally, I find it very handy since I target unread threads, trying to make sure they get answered. If I see one of my fellow ninjas is already helping, I'll skip it and just mark it as read.
