Making a Mortgage Calculator

Hello!


I have to create a mortgage calculator for an assignment. I have to give the user of the calculator the choice of

1) working out the amount of the mortgage they need

OR

2)working out the amount of the repayments they need to make on their mortgage.


SO I have created a drop down box where they can select one of these options. Based on their choice I need to change the information they input into the calculator. For example, if they select "Amount of Mortgage" in the drop down box, I need something to then happen so they can enter the repayment sizes they want to make. Hoever, if they select "Repayment amount" I need them to then be able to enter the size of the mortgage they want.


I just have no idea how to do this! Do I need to create 2 differnt workbooks, one for working out the mortgage size they nedd and another for if they want to work out their repayments sizes. OR is there some other way I can do this so the workbook will change slightly to ask for different inputs when they select what they are trying to work out in the drop down box.


Any help would be much appreciated! :)

This can be done in one sheet using dependent validation list. Could you please give more details how you want the sheet to look or better if you can share a sample worksheet.
