Making a function available in all workbooks through XLSTART

hello folks,

I am attaching a workbook containing a Function (SpellNumber- spells out numbers in word format).
This function is not accessible to any other workbooks I open. As per my understanding I have to save this function in PERSONAL.xlsb work book that is normally hidden and is parked in directory c:\programfiles\Msoffice\excel14\XLSTART. I am however unable to do achieve this. I managed to create another Xlsx file called personal.xlsx and save the function in this file and put it in XLSTART directory. this is causing my created personal.xlsx file to open each time I start Excel. Can someone help please?

regards,
Joshi
